Overall, it was a really interesting place to see and experience. However, it was confusing trying to get into the actual business with no real signage or directions shown... We had to walk through one door and then through a garage, and then up some stairs into the back of the retail store! And, overall, there wasn't a lot of guidance or interaction with the staff, which made it a bit unwelcoming. The pottery was really beautiful and the retail store was nice with a lot of the pottery options laid out on tables or on the walls. I was surprised at the cost of this wonderful pottery, but now I'm educated on it!

What a wonderful place! I was able to recieve a tour along with a candle making lesson! All the pieces are handcrafted with great detail and fine craftsmanship. With a GORGEOUS mural on the front of the building and easily accessible by the cincinnati connector, this place really has a lot to offer from a wide variety of audiences.

My family enjoyed the tour of the Rookwood Pottery business. We saw the molds, the process they use, the variety of items they produce, and the glazes. Our tour guide was excellent.

I did a tour of Rookwood and also made a candle with their candle workshop. The tour was fascinating to see the behind the scenes of the factory and learning some history. The candle-making was alot of fun! You choose what color holder you want and can create your own scent with lots of essential oil options. This is a great fun thing to do with a group or even just yourself! Definitely recommend.
