    Top recommendation on a quick day trip to Cincinnati. Very cool ambiance in OTR, and the food was slamming. The hot honey on the fried chicken sealed the deal. Met some solid people too (Big ups to Papi from The Bronx!).

    Fried chicken has a beautiful color but it doesn’t give the strong flavor I had expected. It seemed somewhat lacking in general spice. It was a very unique flavor of fried chicken I’ll give them that. But there was something they used to batter the chicken I didn’t really care for. Maybe that is the taste many people like. Cornbread was good and the potatoes were decent as well. I’ll give it a 3 for the “food is fine” because it was run of the mill potatoes and cornbread, and because, I didn’t personally care for what they used on the chicken.

    I had an incredible experience dining here recently. Everything was prepared perfectly and the atmosphere was wonderful. The fried chicken was cooked to absolute perfection with a crispy, golden skin. I also really enjoyed the side dish topped with toasted marshmallows; it was such a unique and delicious touch. The presentation in the small cast-iron pans was a great detail that kept everything warm and inviting. I left feeling very satisfied and happy. I will definitely be coming back again soon to enjoy this food.

    From out of town and looking for somewhere to eat and we were SO happy to come across The Eagle. The server was real nice and said “I don’t say this just because I work here, but this chicken is REAL good”. And he was SO RIGHT! They make their chicken different and it shows! There was amazing flavor in all of our food. Chicken, fries, Mac & cheese, and the spicy honey on the side?? 🔥 The spicy chicken dip was insane also! Amazing portions on everything we ordered as well. We were stuffed and still had leftovers. I see it’s a chain & I wish there was one by me!

    Oh my goodness the chicken here was amazing. Spicy, perfectly fried and seasoned. We also had the hush puppies (5/5), Mac and cheese (5/5) and the sweet potato crock (4/5, only because I’d prefer the sweet potatoes to be somewhat sweeter). Our server, Zach, was attentive and accommodating. Wish we could go back but we’re just visiting from Pittsburgh.
