The smash burger is delicious!! A true smash burger, great temp on the meat with crisp ends. It’s a double so the portions are satisfying. Toppings teeter the edge of creating a messy burger, in other words dressed to perfection. Mayo, lettuce, pickles on a challah bun. Chefs kiss, my compliments to the chef. Wings I tasted were good too. Evenly smoked, great flavor. I gained some respect for Cincy, I’m not from here.

So let’s start with the good… the food was pretty good bar food. The pulled pork was pretty good but dry, smoked wings literally fell off the bone and had great flavor… now the service was not great. I’ll give them grace because I believe they were just super busy, however it took 35 min to get my food and I only ordered pulled pork and wings. The staff wasn’t the friendliest and I literally had to chase down a server for more bbq sauce. Experience 2/10, food 6/10

This is a really cool spot. It leans into a unique, ironic theme as a yacht club, but don't let the name fool you, this is spot is the quirky dive of your dreams. The food is classic American fare with a Cincinnati spin. Think burgers, fries, sandwiches and drinks. If you want to destroy your sensitive tum with deep fried perfection (where my delicate tummies at?), look no further because this place will have you feeling no regrets despite your intestinal distress. I tried the monthly special, the chilichanga, a tortilla-wrapped deep fried double schlonged Cincy-style coney, and the Cincy-style goo ball allowed my to ascend to a higher place...perhaps that higher place is, in fact, the yacht club.

First off, seems like a “locals” bar. We got there at 4:45 to beat the rush, it was a Thursday, so I expected it to be slow and it was. We were seated and received menus promptly. It did take a little time for the server (bartender) to come take our order, but it did give us time to look over the menu fully. I knew I was going to get the Cincinnati Chilichanga already. My wife was undecided, but the pulled pork sandwich caught her eye. We were asked if we wanted fries or potato salad as a side. (I think we made a mistake. The potato salad was not to our liking, super sour and very odd texture) Next time I’ll do fries. The Cincinnati Chilichanga didn’t disappoint! This thing was amazing. Crunchy outer shell, great texture inside with the cheese and chili. It held together extremely well, much to my surprise. Excellent mashup! The Pulled pork definitely gave off the “smoked for 15 hours” taste. Smoky and delicious paired with the egg, pickled red onions and the Carolina sauce, very delicious. Great selection of cocktails although I opted for water the other half got a Yacht Toddy. Great drink for a cold winter day. Overall a cool little place, but not worth my drive (35 minutes) for me to go back. Total bill $60 with tip was also a little steep, but where else are you going to get a deep fried coney?

Stopped in for lunch today and everything was delicious. The nautical theme and lights were awesome. Went with the double smash burger and poutine fries, and the garden tofu wrap with potato salad and frickles. The burger was spectacular and the poutine was a perfect side. The garden tofu wrap was amazing and I was disappointed I didn't get two. The spicy garlic aioli and frickles were great together and I highly recommend getting them with your order. I can't wait to go back, go check it out!
