Our time at Crown was great! Would recommend reservations as they were just able to squeeze us in on Saturday morning. Chuck was very helpful as out of towners and was attentive with the bottomless mimosas (a great deal). The food was all phenomenal; crispy potatoes - actually crispy; Bs&Gs - what do they put in them that makes it sooo good?? Tequila Bee drink was also one of the best drinks I’ve ever had, no the tequila wasn’t too much for brunch.

We had an extraordinary meal at Crown Republic Gastropub! Jill was our host, and she was attentive, thoughtful, and genuinely caring throughout the evening. She even changed the TV channel so we could watch a World Cup soccer match—without the volume, so it wouldn’t disturb other guests. That level of consideration went above and beyond our expectations. As wonderful as the service was, the food and bar program were even more impressive. We ordered the French onion soup dumplings, crispy broccoli, and spinach cavatelli, and every dish was outstanding. And whatever you do, don’t leave without dessert—the apple cake is absolutely delicious! A memorable dining experience from start to finish. We’ll be back as soon as possible!

Great first time experience! The French onion dumplings and broccoli appetizers were both excellent. The burger was enormous and came with thin cut perfectly cooked fries. Interesting cocktails included a bourbon espresso martini. We will definitely come back. Shout out to Miles for excellent service!!

We had reservations at 6:15pm on a Thursday before a show at the Taft. We were seated right away. Our server was attentive and lovely. We have dined here before and tried some new dishes that we had not had before. I have to say that this place has VERY generous portions, so keep that in mind when you order. We actually brought a cooler in the car because we knew we would have leftovers to keep cold during our show. The General Tso's Cauliflower tastes like the chicken version, just with cauliflower. Our friend, who never eats vegetables, ate this dish with gusto. The Burrata w/Tomato Jam is a little on the sweeter side of tomato jam, and if sharing, needs more crostini. Why they give that large serving with only a few toasts is dumb. The burger is served with 2 generous patties and very large. However, when I took a bite, I immediately noticed it was gamey (I am a weird person who can readily taste grass-fed beef vs. feed-finished beef). I asked the server to check, and indeed, they use grass-fed beef. Just know that this fact is not stated on the menu. The Chicken Scallopini had a huge amount of tagliatelle on a pounded piece of chicken with a light, tasty caper sauce. The flavors were great, the tagliatelle was light and tender, but I don't understand why they cover perfectly crispy chicken with a mound of pasta. There goes the crispy part of the fried chicken! The breading was total mush when you ate it. The Bolognese was the most unique presentation we have ever seen! Our guest liked the flavors and because it was such a generous portion, took home half of it. Crown Gastropub is a great place to go before a show at the Taft, or anytime! We love all of the restaurants in this group.

Walked to CRG with my family after a day at the underground railroad museum and let me tell you it was the best food we ate during our whole vacation! Everything we ate was slappin' the taste buds! Flavorful, fresh, made in house, and nice portions. The atmosphere and service was fantastic. Even the drinks are on point! Must have dessert is the apple cake omg. Chef owned and locally sourced! You will not be disappointed. Also side note, I love that you wash your hands outside of the restroom so you can shame people if they are nasty 😆
